Purpose and Goals

Gauthier's Educational Services seeks to provide educational services patrons can trust and afford by

  • Offering quality, effective, and outstanding educational services at a low, competitive rate,

  • Maintaining above-satisfactory customer service,

​​

  • Keeping a safe and private environment for all patrons,

​​

  • Allowing data to drive all decisions regarding next steps for customers, and

​​

  • Keeping open and effective lines of communication with customers and the community.

Services

Gauthier's Educational Services provides the following services:

​

  • *One-on-one tutoring,

​

  • Group tutoring, 

​​

  • **Test Prep (ACT, SAT, PRAXIS, HiSET, LEAP, iLEAP, EOC), and

​​

  • Summer learning opportunities.

​​​​

*Tutoring is offered both face-to-face and virtually. (VIRTUALLY ONLY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

**Test Prep is offered both one-on-one and in group sessions.

Owner

Gauthier's Educational Services, LLC is owned by Mr. Gregory Gauthier.  Mr. Gauthier has served Calcasieu Parish School System as an educator for more than 40 years.  He has taught Algebra I, Physical Science, Health, and Physical Education. In addition to serving as a classroom teacher, Mr. Gauthier has served as a head girls track coach, head girls and boys cross country coach, and assistant coach of both football and girls basketball.  Coach Gauthier has led local athletes to fourteen State Championships and nine State Runners Up.  He is most proud of the number of athletes that he has been able to assist in securing athletic and/or academic scholarships to attend college.  Among those students is a host of great wives, mothers, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and contributing members of the Lake Charles community.  He currently serves Calcasieu Parish School System as an Assistant Principal. 

Mr. Gauthier is a proud graduate of McNeese State University where he earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees and his administrative certification.  He is a member of the McNeese State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Mr. Gauthier is also a proud honor graduate of W. O. Boston High school.  

Operator

Gauthier's Educational Services, LLC is operated by Mrs. Victoria Gauthier Steward.  Victoria Gauthier Steward is an educator of more than 18 years. Prior to beginning her career as a full-time tutor and academic coach, she served as a public-school teacher and administrator for more than 10 years. Mrs. Steward’s classroom experience includes teaching 8th grade Math, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, College Algebra, and Statistics. She also has experience teaching advanced-paced, dual credit, and gifted and talented course. Her secondary teaching area is English/Language Arts.

 

Victoria is a proud December 2005, May 2006, and May 2013 graduate of McNeese State University. Victoria has two bachelor's degrees from McNeese State University: Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. She also has two masters degrees: Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University and Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (also from McNeese State University). Victoria Steward is also a proud Honor Graduate and Valedictorian of Lake Charles-Boston High School (Class of 2001).

 

Victoria and her husband of 18 years, Dr. Mark Steward, have two sons. Her hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
